The eligibility for affordable housing is usually 80% of area median income (AMI) and depends on the size of household and location of the property.
For example, in 2023: In towns inner to 495 1-person household maximum income will range from $66,300-82,950; 2 persons household $75,750-94,800; 3- $85,200-$106,650; 4- $94,650-$118,450; For more information check for the town you are interested in: https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/il.html#2020
Maximum liquid assets will be $75,000. There are some other restrictions that will be determined by program, location and nature of project.
We are hired to facilitate the sales of these units for the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) and several monitoring agencies.
